Project Description
NOVI Energy was selected to help Colonial Pipeline Company (CPC) define an energy strategy to reduce their annual cost of energy. CPC is an interstate carrier of petroleum products delivering a daily average of 100 million gallons of gasoline, home heating oil, aviation fuel, and other refined petroleum products to communities and businesses throughout the South and Eastern United States. NOVI’s strategy focused on developing a business case for infrastructure projects and alternative power supply options that would allow continued operations during power interruptions, evaluating opportunity for location value sharing and monetizing these values in a shared savings approach, energy security planning for reliability and quality of supply, diversity of energy supply, and establishing demand response plan.
