NOVI Energy developed two 4.3 MW anaerobic digesters in North Carolina. Each NOVI Carolina Digester (NCD) accepts1,200 tons per day of waste and residuals from swine and other biomass feedstock. NOVI secured 25-year Renewable Energy Purchase Agreements for these plants for sale of the electricity and Renewable Energy Credits (REC).

NOVI identified sources for nearly all of the projected input feedstock, conducted laboratory analyses, and secured contracts for most of the feedstock.
